A woman is designed to both grow and birth her baby – all the power she needs is already within her. Mindful Mamma Hypnobirthing techniques will help her to recognise this. During my one day workshops we explore the use of simple, practical techniques such as creative visualisation, self-hypnosis and mindfulness which mums and mums-to-be can use to alter their perception of pain, boost confidence and feel in control on the day they meet their baby.
By practicing light self-hypnosis it’s possible to access a naturally occurring state of relaxation during labour. This benefits both mother and baby and provides a solid foundation at the beginning of their journey together, that continues well beyond birth.
My aim is always for parents and parents-to-be to feel more prepared and empowered by the skills they will gain from the Mindful Mamma method, confident in their body’s own natural ability to birth, relying more on their own resources and instincts for birthing, new parenthood and beyond.
